It was a fateful Tuesday afternoon (we don't actually remember the day) brought together by technological whims. Randall was busy lugging kegs around the brewhouse at Creston (RIP—we miss so much) and Jaymie was painfully bored at what is to date her least favorite job. Thankfully, since both were at work, they were within the 5-mile radius they'd set in the app for finding a potential mate; true love must also be conveniently located.

Amidst the harrowing work day, the pair opened up their Bumble (because, feminism, duh) dating profiles. He swiped right, she swiped right, and he was obviously charmed by whatever equally profound yet hilariously witty introduction message Jaymie sent him.

After a slightly awkward (looking at you, Randall) but enjoyable first date bonding over a love of craft beers and embarrassing stories, they felt compelled to see each other again.

Over the years, Jaymie and Randall have grown closer than two people ever could, moving in together as the COVID-19 lockdown started and adopting the sweetest old lady cat in all the land, Francine Eugenia (we miss you the most, Franny).

Two more cats, two new cities, endless laughs, many beers, and a few years later, the pair finally decided to make things gov-offic.
